Impressions

This was a birthday or christmas present from my folks around 1994, and it went on to be the amplifier I used for most of the 500$fine stuff.

It was a solid state power amp with a tube preamp. And while it had a great clean sound, it’s distorted sound left something to be desired, so it was added to with either a Boss Metalzone, or an MXR Distortion +.

For a cab, I ran a Fender HM412a, which I got as a gift with this amp.

It was a workhorse. Eventually I decided I needed a full tube amp, and got a Laney VH100R.
