In 1999, I was working at a pizza place. And I had a crappy guitar. So I decided to get a great one.

I had always wanted just a basic, american strat. And so I ordered one. And since I never used the tremelo, I ordered a hardtail.

The guitar came strait from the factory, and it was ok. I also had ordered it with a maple neck, I guess cuz I wanted a more ‘traditional’ one, and yeah, I never really liked those.

Grudigingly, I tried to like this guitar. As it was a factory order, i didn’t play it before receiving it. It was heavy, IE, moisture in the wood. It sounded dead. I did tons of upgrades to it, new pickups, electronics, shielding. Still wasn’t that great.

Eventually I sold it, and got something I didn’t hate.

Trivia: The aka of F*box came from this guitar, cuz I called this stupid thing ‘Fuckbox’, cuz I hated it.
